Informative Meteorological Warning
High probability of a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours

Discussion: The atmospheric disturbance (tropical wave # 50) remains over the Caribbean Sea between Hispaniola Island and Lake Maracaibo, it is moving west towards Central America. This system has a high potential for development in a 90% tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.
Forecast: The latest analyzes indicate its possible trajectory through the center of the Caribbean Sea, in addition to the interaction with other atmospheric systems, its position and strengthening, there is a high probability of indirect influence on Costa Rica, favoring a rainy scenario as of this Sunday 1 November and beginning of next week, especially in the Central and South Pacific.
The IMN will keep a strict follow-up of the evolution of said disturbance and will inform in a timely manner of any variation of the same and its possible influence on the country.
