On December 11 we were celebrating the International Mountain day, held every year within the scene of the FAO (The Food and Agriculture Organization) and the Alliance for Mountains, of which Costa Rica is a member. Both SINAC and IMN make up the committee in charge of organizing this celebration.

 

This year's theme corresponded to "Sustainable Mountain Tourism", in the following image you can find more details about the event.
