General comment

This Thursday, unstable conditions will continue in southern Central America due to the activity of the Intertropical Convergence Zone. During the morning, variable cloudiness with possible coastal drizzle is expected for the North Caribbean and South Pacific. In the rest of the country, partial cloudiness will prevail. In the afternoon there will again be variable rainy activity with isolated showers and storms in the regions of the Pacific, Central Valley (mainly to the west and north) and in mountainous sectors of the Caribbean and Northern Zone. At night, coastal rains are expected for the first hours in the Central and South Pacific, as well as on the Nicoya peninsula. For the rest of the country, variable cloudiness and drizzle are projected in mountainous sectors also during the first hours.
