General comment

On Monday morning, the trade wind will continue to be weak over the country, which will favor partially cloudy skies over the national territory. Weak coastal showers may occur during the early morning in the Pacific. The warm temperatures typical of March will be present over the country, especially at midday. In the afternoon there will be little rainfall over the country, only occasional showers are expected in the surroundings of the mountain ranges. On the other hand, for this Monday, the entrance of Cold Push #16 to the north of the Caribbean Sea is projected. Although this system is NOT expected to reach our country, it will have an indirect effect on Costa Rica by progressively accelerating the wind. This acceleration for this Monday will be perceived at the end of the afternoon and beginning of the night only in the North Pacific and the mountains. However, from Tuesday onwards, the wind is forecast to accelerate moderately in the Central Valley as well.
