Condiciones lluviosas en el Pacífico Central y Sur

17 de agosto de 2020

Diagnóstico: Durante la tarde se han presentado condiciones lluviosas en el Pacífico Central y Sur, con montos entre 25-45 mm, particularmente en el Pacífico Sur.

Pronóstico: en el resto tarde y la noche, se esperan que las lluvias moderadas intermitentes en el Pacífico Central y Sur hasta primeras horas de esta noche, especialmente cerca de zonas costeras, los acumulados se estiman entre 10-40 mm en las próximas horas. 

En el Caribe, la Zona Norte y las zonas centrales y así como el Valle Central estará con precipitaciones aisladas y débiles y montos entre 5-20 mm.

Advertencia: Especial atención en las regiones del Pacífico Central y Sur donde se prevén las lluvias más fuertes.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
