Informative Meteorological Warning
Possible formation of low-pressure system with effects on the weekend

Discussion: The atmospheric instability generated by Hurricane Iota will favor the formation of a low-pressure system near the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The National Hurricane Center of the United States (NHC for its acronym in English) indicates a probability of 40% of evolution to tropical depression in the next 5 days.
Forecast: Given the possibility of development of this low pressure and proximity to Costa Rica, there is the possibility of generating a change in weather conditions with an increase in rainfall in the country.
The IMN will keep strict monitoring of the evolution of and will inform in a timely manner of any variation of the same and its possible influence on the country.
