Lluvias variables en la vertiente del Pacifico
19 de noviembre de 2023

Diagnóstico: La zona de convergencia intertropical, mantiene la inestabilidad sobre la región pacífica del país. Factores locales como la brisa del pacífico mantendrán la probabilidad de lluvias nocturnas en dicha zona. En las ultimas 3 horas se han reportado lluvias en la Zona Norte, Pacifico Central, Pacifico Sur, Pacifico Norte, Valle Central y Caribe Sur con montos que rondan entre 30mm a 64mm.
Pronostico: Para la noche de hoy, las lluvias pueden presentarse en el Caribe Sur con lluvias débiles. Para la vertiente del Pacifico los montos pueden rondar los 50mm en 6 horas.
Advertencia: Persiste la saturación de suelos en el Pacífico Sur, Pacífico Central, Zona Norte y Caribe Norte montañoso, esto debido a las precipitaciones recurrentes de estos días.
Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:
• Precaución por saturación de alcantarillado y posibles inundaciones repentinas, así como las principales rutas del país ante eventos lluviosos fuertes.
• Prevención ante tormenta eléctrica y buscar refugio en un sitio seguro en caso de presentarse o de percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, debido a la posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
