Rainy conditions during tonight - early morning in the national territory
Noviember 09, 2020
10:20 p.m.
Forecast: The conditions of strong downpours remain for the rest of the night and early morning, with a greater impact on the central and southern Pacific and the mountainous Caribbean. The Nicoya peninsula will have less intense rains in the early hours of Tuesday.
Warning: Special attention for possible incidents due to saturation of soils in the South Pacific, Central Pacific and mountainous Caribbean.
Due to the above, the IMN recommends:
• Caution in areas vulnerable to flooding due to sewerage saturation.
• Take shelter in a safe place in case you hear an electrical storm or perceive strong gusts of wind near the storm clouds, as well as caution against possible falling tree branches, power lines, among others.
