Condiciones lluviosas durante este inicio de semana

Diagnóstico: la cercanía de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical ha estado generando condiciones muy inestables en la atmósfera. Durante la mañana se han estado presentando lluvias aisladas en el norte del país, con montos ente 5-10 mm en períodos de 6 horas.

Pronóstico:  durante la tarde y noche se tendrán lluvias y aguaceros con tormentas en el Pacífico Central y Sur, se prevén montos de lluvia entre 15-60 mm en períodos de 6 horas. En el oeste del Valle Central se tendrán aguaceros con tormentas aisladas, además, de manera aislada se prevén lluvias intermitentes en la península de Nicoya y los sectores montañosos del Caribe y Zona Norte; se prevé que en el Valle Central y península de Nicoya los montos oscilen entre 5-35 mm en períodos de 3 horas.

Se estima que las precipitaciones puedan extenderse hasta primeras horas de la noche en el Pacífico y sectores aledaños al Valle Central.

 

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

 

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado, aumento de caudal en ríos y quebradas, además en sectores propensos a deslizamientos.
  • Prevención en rutas nacionales como: ruta 1, ruta 10, ruta 27, ruta 21, ruta 32, ruta 34, ruta 141 y ruta 126.
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
