Tropical wave # 7 will generate rains in the Pacific during the afternoon

Discussion: Tropical wave # 7 is located in the west of our country, generating instability in its path. The entrance of the same caused rains this morning in the North Caribbean and North Zone with accumulated between 15-30 mm and cloudy conditions in the rest of the country.
Forecast: Tropical wave # 7 will be reinforcing in the late afternoon and night in a moderate way the precipitations in the Pacific slope, especially in the coastal part, it is estimated isolated showers and localized electrical storm, accumulated will vary between 40 to 60 mm. In the Central Valley, Caribbean, North Zone and South Caribbean, partial to total cloudiness is expected this afternoon, the rains will be scattered with amounts between 5-20 mm.
Warning: Special attention in the Pacific regions and the North Zone due to the high levels of humidity in the soils given the persistence of rainfall in recent days in these areas.
Due to the above, the IMN recommends:
Caution in areas vulnerable to flooding due to sewer saturation.
Take refuge in a safe place in case of listening to a thunderstorm or perceiving strong gusts of wind near storm clouds, as well as caution for possible falling tree branches, power lines, among others.
Attention on the main national highways, such as route 27 and route 32.
