Aviso Meteorológico

Continúan las precipitaciones en el país esta noche

Diagnóstico: La inestabilidad atmosférica causada por la influencia de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical, está ha propiciado aguaceros intensos con tormenta eléctrica en el norte y centro del país esta tarde. Los acumulados máximos por región del día de hoy hasta este momento son los siguientes: Zona Norte 90 mm, Pacífico Norte 98 mm, Pacífico Central y Sur 31 mm, Valle Central 58 mm, Caribe Norte 76 mm y Caribe Sur 19 mm.

Actualmente se están presentando aguaceros fuertes con tormenta en la Zona Norte y Pacífico Norte, así como lluvias de variable intensidad en el Valle Central.

Pronóstico:  Esta noche se mantendrán las lluvias de variable intensidad y aguaceros con tormentas eléctricas en la Zona Norte y se extenderán al Caribe Norte, montos entre 20-60 mm.  Igualmente se mantendrán, durante las primeras horas, las precipitaciones en el Valle Central, Pacífico Norte y Pacífico Central, así como en las montañas del Caribe Sur y del Pacífico Sur, montos entre 10-50 mm.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado, aumento de caudal en ríos y quebradas, además en sectores propensos a deslizamientos.
  • Prevención en rutas nacionales como: ruta 1, ruta 10, ruta 27, ruta 21, ruta 32, ruta 34, ruta 141 y ruta 126.
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
