Aviso Meteorológico

Fuertes lluvias en la tarde en el Pacífico y montañas de la Zona Norte y vertiente del Caribe

Diagnóstico: este martes el posicionamiento de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical, lo inestable de la atmósfera y las altas temperaturas son factores que favorecen condiciones lluviosas fuertes. Se han presentado montos de lluvia entre 20-40 mm en el Pacífico Central, entre 50-70 mm en el Pacífico Sur y de hasta 40 m en el este del Valle Central.

Pronóstico: durante la tarde y primeras horas de la noche se presentarán condiciones lluviosas en la vertiente del Pacífico, Valle Central, montañas del Caribe y Zona Norte.

En el resto de la tarde y noche se tendrán precipitaciones intensas con montos de lluvia entre 10-50 mm en las montañas del Caribe y Zona Norte, entre 15-45 mm en el Valle Central y montos entre 25-40 mm en el Pacífico.

Durante la noche se tendrán lluvias y aguaceros intermitentes con montos de precipitaciones mucho menores.

Advertencia: Especial atención por posibles incidentes debido a la saturación de los suelos en el Pacífico Sur en las partes altas de la Zona Norte y el Pacífico Central.

Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
