Lluvias hasta las primeras horas de la noche

Diagnóstico: La inestabilidad atmosférica sobre el país generada por la cercanía de la Zona de Convergencia aunado al alto contenido de humedad durante el día, están generando los siguientes acumulados de precipitaciones en el país: Pacífico Norte 46 mm en Liberia, Pacífico Central 66 mm en Río Nuevo de PZ, Pacífico Sur 70 mm en Osa, Valle Central 52 mm en Santa Bárbara de Heredia, Caribe Sur con 24 mm en Guayabo de Turrialba. En el resto del país no se han dado lluvias de importancia.

Pronóstico: Para las primeras horas de la noche se anticipa la persistencia de aguaceros con tormenta eléctrica en el Pacífico Central, Pacífico Sur, Zona Norte y Caribe Norte, en menor medida con lluvias intermitentes para Valle Central. En el resto del territorio las lluvias serán de menor intensidad y aisladas.

 Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:

  • Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado. 
  • Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
  • Precaución en las zonas cercanas a los ríos por posibles cabezas de agua.
