Aviso Meteorológico
Lluvias y aguaceros se mantendrán intermitentes en el Caribe y Zona Norte montañoso, Costa del Pacífico y Valle Central

Diagnóstico: La cercanía de la Zona de convergencia Intertropical sobre Costa Rica, así como el alto contenido de humedad en la región ha favorecido intensas precipitaciones en las montañas de la Zona Norte, Caribe, y Pacífico. Se registran montos máximos entre 50 y 80 mm en la Zona Norte, montos de 40 mm en el Pacífico y 25 mm en el Valle Central.
Pronóstico: en las últimas horas de la tarde y en las primeras horas de la Zona Norte continuará con condiciones lluviosas intermitentes tendiendo a disminuir en el transcurso de la noche. Se prevén montos en períodos de 3 horas entre 15-25 mm en la Zona Norte con tormenta eléctrica intermitente, de 1-5 mm en el Valle Central y de 5-20 mm en la región del Pacífico.
Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:
- Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado.
- Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
