Tropical wave # 7 will transit the country tomorrow Thursday

Diagnosis: At 6:00 pm this Wednesday, tropical wave # 7 is located near the border between Colombia and Panama, it continues to move west.

 

Forecast: During the course of this Thursday, the entry of tropical wave # 7 into the country is expected, in view of this, a moderate reinforcement of evening precipitation is expected in the area of ??the Pacific slope and mountainous parts of the country with isolated rains and storms. in a localized way. In addition, it is possible to have rainy activity with intensity between weak and moderate during the early morning and morning on the Caribbean side.

 

Warning: Special attention in the Guanacaste and North Zone regions due to the high levels of humidity in the soils given the persistence of rainfall in recent days in these areas. These conditions increase the probability of incidents such as landslides, river overflows, etc. …

 

Due to the above, the IMN recommends:

 

  • Caution in areas vulnerable to flooding due to sewer saturation.
