Diagnóstico: La inestabilidad atmosférica sobre el país generada por la cercanía de la zona de convergencia aunado al alto contenido de humedad propician condiciones para la ocurrencia de aguaceros esta tarde en el país.
Pronóstico: Para esta tarde y primeras horas de la noche se anticipan aguaceros con tormenta eléctrica para la vertiente del Pacífico, Zona Norte y Valle Central, especialmente en las zonas montañosas y sus cercanías. Para las regiones del Caribe se esperan chubascos aislados y posible tormenta de manera puntual en zonas altas, mientras que para las partes costeras no se prevén precipitaciones significativas.
Debido a lo anterior, el IMN recomienda:
- Precaución en zonas con vulnerabilidad a inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado.
- Refugiarse en un sitio seguro en caso de escuchar tormenta eléctrica o percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, así como precaución por posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico entre otros.
- Precaución en las zonas cercanas a los ríos por posibles cabezas de agua.
